چکیده
Only 42% of Uganda’s population has access to electricity. The continues use firewood and charcoal as a source energy, which leads depletion forests thus climate change. purpose this study was assess the potential biogas production from jackfruit waste, banana peels, pineapple peels when co-digested with cow dung an alternative energy source. Substrates for each waste were varying proportions (0%, 25%, 50%) using laboratory-scale 250 mL anaerobic digestors. total generation after 30 days digestion 82.3, 189, 262 mL, respectively. When jack fruit 25% dung, amount produced increased by factor two three, However, 50% only significantly (p ≤ 0.05) improved folds. Therefore, results indicated that can be used augment supply.

Review on Biogas Production from Co- Digestion of Cow Dung and Foodwaste with Water Hyacinth
With Increasing Energy Demand in the World and to keep Environment Friendly, biogas technology has attained a notable position for the future scope. This paper tells about a comprehension review on anaerobic digestion of cow dung and food waste with Water hyacinths to enhance biogas productions. Water hyacinths are treated as waste in rivers, ponds, but they have high potential in biogas produc...
متن کاملUtilization of waste ripe Banana , and peels for Bio ethanol production using Saccharomyces
Dried and ground peel biomass, ripe waste banana and Hydrolyzed peels of green and red banana used for bio ethanol production by Saccharomyces cerevisiae with shake flask culture. The substrate was given with different concentration as 1%, 2.5%, 5%, 7.5% and 10% (w/v) along with 1% inoculum. Saccharomyces cerevisiae exhibited maximum yield of ethanol in ripened red banana and their hydrolyzed p...
